Christmas In The Barn, Larchfield Estate
Tuesday 5 November 2024
This year, Larchfield Estate are delighted to once again donate the events spaces and courtyards for the 2024 edition of ‘Christmas In the Barn with the Kinnairds’ – organised by local couple Lucinda and Nigel.
Each year, the fair is used to raise funds for a chosen charity through guest donations and stall-holder fees, with drugs education charity the Daniel Spargo-Mabbs Foundation having been chosen for 2024.
The DSM Foundation was set up in 2014 by Tim and Fiona Spargo-Mabbs after their 16 year old son Daniel died following an accidental overdose of ecstasy, and since then has worked tirelessly to help young people make informed and safer choices when in situations involving alcohol and drugs.
Funds raised at the Christmas Fair will help bring this vital work to Northern Ireland, notably through performances in schools of the play that tells Dan’s story and an accompanying workshop to help students explore the themes and develop some skills to help them and their friends stay safe.

Previously, the Christmas Fair has supported Dementia NI, Horatio’s Garden, Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI, and fightED, raising up to £20,000 in previous years.
The fair will take place on Monday 4th November from 10am to 8pm, and Tuesday 5th November from 10am to 5pm, with over 50 stall-holders providing locally made crafts, artwork, clothing, food and more!
Booking is not required, simply make a donation on arrival. We hope to see you there!
