Jade Bradley of Restore Nutrition

Thursday 4 July 2024

Jade Bradley of Restore Nutrition I’m Jade, and first and foremost, I am an expert in burnout. I know burnout inside out! I experienced cyclical burnout for years without realising what it was. I went through numerous doctor’s appointments, being told my blood tests were normal and being misdiagnosed with depression.

Because of my own journey, my mission is to support high-achieving women in making their journey with burnout much simpler than mine was. This is why I studied for years to become a Nutritional Therapist and a Health Coach. For the past five years, I have supported women all over the world in implementing simple but powerful everyday nutrition and lifestyle habits that actually stick.

I don’t do restrictive diets or counting calories. Instead, I use my three-pillar Revive & Thrive Approach to support women in finding the freedom to enjoy their everyday life and work towards their true goals and ambitions without burnout holding them back.

I studied at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London and am a member of BANT, registered with CNHC. Upon moving back from London, I went fully self-employed from the get-go. I remember a speech from a tutor at my graduation; she said that there is never a perfect time to get started and the longer you put it off, the more difficult it will be. I always kept that reminder with me. To be clear, I had no clue what I was doing in terms of running a business at that early stage, and I must confess I am still learning now.

But I was so eager to help others with my knowledge and skills that I just went out knocking on doors. I started by doing many community and charity sector group workshops and working one-to-one with clients. I rented small local spaces to do my one-to-one work, and the ball started rolling.

This period was when I found my feet and gained confidence in public speaking and networking. I find that when you are passionate about the topic you are talking about, it generally comes easily.

I am still a one-woman band currently, although I hope to have some support in the coming months with admin and marketing.

Since Covid, my business has been mostly online, allowing me to support women all over the world, from the Maldives to America. I appreciated that aspect of the pandemic; it showed me that I could deliver uncompromised service online. I still do in-person talks and workshops, which I love. Being a solo entrepreneur means I miss connecting with people in person.

I have been a member of Women in Business for around three years now. I have enjoyed the few in-person events I have attended and always gained a lot of value from the online workshops I have taken part in. I am excited to connect with many more women through Women in Business, which is why I want to maximise my connection with its members.
