Emer McGourty - Norwex

October 2016, Emer was at her very first Norwex Healthy Home Party.  She had never heard of Norwex before, and despite what her friend who was hosting the party had said, she also had little to no interest in anything they could possibly have to offer.  She HATES cleaning, and her environmental conscience was marginal at best.  She attended mostly due to serious bribery with Waffleberry Pudding, but also to support her friend ….by the end of the night, Emer wanted the entire catalogue.  Something which, she says, happens with a lot of people.

What made her go from enthusiastic customer to Consultant? “I had been using the products around the house for a few months and really liked them, but I really became a convert when I got a dog.  One of the biggest moments I had is that Buster was having serious skin irritation after he came to me, I’d been in and out of the vets trying to figure out what was going on with him, and I started to notice that it would flare up just after I’d washed his bedding and the blankets on the sofa.  I had a packet of Norwex washing powder under the sink – like many people I was using up my regular product first.  Once I switched over, his itching stopped almost immediately.  I couldn’t get over the impact the chemicals in my regular washing products were having on him.  There were a number of other moments on the road to me becoming a Consultant, but that’s the one that well and truly changed my whole outlook, when I saw an immediate and real impact first hand on Buster’s health.
