Denise Burns - Omnibus Home

Omnibus Home is a luxury retailer of furniture, home wares, gifts and art based on the Lisburn Road, Belfast.  Omnibus Home was originally set online up by Denise Burns in November 2017, and she open her first store in March 2018. 

 

Omnibus Home aims to bring customers something different, with a range of exclusive designers, artists and brands sourced from around the world. 

 

Denise oversees all aspects of buying for the business, often reaching out to artists and designers who have yet to penetrate the Northern Ireland market.  Her desire to bring the new and different has ensured that customers are getting pieces that they will not get elsewhere, whether that’s furniture from Germany, diffusers from Paris or artists from Iceland and Dublin, and with an overarching theme of colour.

 

The customer experience is a key aspect of Omnibus Home’s ethos, with Denise keen to ensure that it is not only enjoyable and that customers get what they need, but also that they return in the future.  Omnibus Home also offers bespoke order pieces; it’s about a positive shopper experience and much of that comes from Denise’s engagement to meet customers’ needs.

 

Omnibus Home is also working with local companies in Northern Ireland, providing exclusive pieces for those businesses that want that wow factor to compliment their own offering, and Denise is continuously seeking out new suppliers to bring that little bit of exclusivity to Belfast, and NI more broadly with some exciting new designers secured for Autumn/Winter 18.
