Overturn the Farm Family Tax Rally

In response to the recent announcement by the UK government regarding changes to Agricultural Property Relief (APR), as an Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) Affinity Partner, we would like to welcome you to join us at the Overturn the Farm Family Tax Rally on Monday, 18th November 2024, at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn, starting at 7:30 pm.

This event is designed to highlight the potential impact of the proposed Family Farm Tax on our members and provide the agricultural industry a platform to engage with both the press and representatives from all political parties in Northern Ireland.

To ensure the smooth running of this event and to maximise its coverage, please find attached two documents: the Rally Information Document and the Rally Marketing Guidelines Document. We kindly ask that you read both documents to ensure we are all promoting the event and its objectives with consistent messaging for the greatest impact.

UFU members are encouraged to sign the UFU petition to help overturn the farm family tax. Participation can be done through this link: www.surveymonkey.com/r/UFUpetition. This petition will be hand delivered the next day (Tuesday 19th) to the Secretary of States office by selected UFU representatives.
