Local Northern Ireland Business Wins Award for Bilingual Irish and English Services

We are thrilled to announce that as a local wine business, and member of Women in Business ,Absolute Organic Wine Limited, has been awarded the prestigious GRADAIM Gnó na hÉireann(Irish Business Award) 2024 for the use of both Irish and English in business.

Absolute Organic Wine Limited is the only specialist Organic and Vegan Wine company in Ireland and the UK to provide such bilingual services, and for whom “gnó” literally means “business” at An tIonad Fíona Wine Centre in Draperstown, Co. Derry.

GRADAIM is a recognition scheme from, Glór na nGael, the Irish language organisation set up to  promote the use of Irish throughout the island of Ireland through acknowleging the speaking and use of the Irish language in business and by businesses.

The awards or "gradaim" are presented to businesses for their efforts in the use of Irish in three main categories, namely 1. Signage 2. Branding and Marketing 3. Irish Language Customer & Client Service.

The recognition from GRADAIM Gnó na hÉireann 2024 is to advise the public that Absolute Organic Wine Limited has been presented with awards in the bilingual use of Irish and English the below categories:

  • Signage: Gold
  • Marketing and Branding: Gold
  • Service in Irish: SilverThis recognition is a testament to the commitment of Absolute Organic Wine Limited in preserving and promoting the use of the  Irish language while providing exceptional services to customers in both English and Irish.
