Women in Business are delighted to welcome our latest Ambassador for the network – Deborah Sloan!

Deborah is currently taking a one-year career break from academia to explore new challenges. She has recently launched her website deborahsloan.co.uk - sharing insights into her career break journey and offering a range of opportunities for women who want to explore a change in their career or in their personal lives. As a mum to four girls, Deborah also writes extensively (and often humorously) on the realities for women as they juggle life and work!

Deborah’s background is in graduate and professional leadership development, and she also established and led the highly successful Ulster University Women’s Network. Believing in the power of diversity networks to drive and deliver cultural change, Deborah is launching a new business RISE Consulting Group which supports networks to maximise their impact within organisations.

Deborah is interested in hearing from anyone who is currently leading or considering establishing a network for women in relation to joining a Community of Practice where network leads can share knowledge and collaborate with each other.
