Niamh is the Engineering Design Lead at Catagen Ltd, a Belfast-based Net Zero Technologies company, dedicated to cleaning and decarbonising the air. She joined Catagen in July 2023, tasked with establishing and leading their first, dedicated mechanical design team. Previously, Niamh spent six years working as a Lead Mechanical Engineer and Computer Aided Design Manager at AJ Power Ltd, a Diesel Generator manufacturer in Craigavon, where she implemented design systems, developed workflows and led the design, manufacture and validation testing of a new range of Stage V emissions-compliant diesel generators for the rental market. Passionate about fostering growth in STEM, Niamh actively promotes STEM careers through school and university outreach and as a mentor with the Arkwright Engineering Scholarship.
