Sinead Stewart is a Director in the Banking and Finance Department of Cleaver Fulton Rankin, a full-service commercial law firm in Belfast with over 130 years of heritage. She is also joint Trainee Solicitor Programme Director at Cleaver Fulton Rankin, leading on the recruitment of trainees, managing their learning, development and progression within the firm. Sinead has worked in leading multi-national law firms in London, Birmingham and Belfast prior to joining Cleaver Fulton Rankin in August 2023 and is qualified to practise as a solicitor in England & Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland. She regularly advises banks, financial institutions and borrowers across various industry sectors in relation to general corporate lending, real estate finance, development finance, debt restructuring, distressed real estate projects and loan portfolio sales. Sinead also acts for insolvency practitioners in the management and sale of distressed real estate across Northern Ireland, England and Wales and Ireland. Cleaver Fulton Rankin is a full-service commercial law firm based in Belfast, providing legal advice and services to both businesses and individual private clients. Cleaver Fulton Rankin offers advice in areas such as employment and immigration, dispute resolution, private client, company & commercial, commercial property, planning and environment, banking and finance, procurement, legal technology and construction.
Louise Coffey is a Director in KPMG’s corporation tax department. Louise is a qualified chartered accountant and chartered tax advisor who has worked in KPMG and Grant Thornton in Belfast. Louise is responsible for the UK tax affairs for a broad client portfolio which consists of both large UK and non-UK head quartered groups but specialises in local owner managed businesses which operate in a range of industries. Her focus in recent years has been acting as lead tax contact on tax due diligences as well as advising on tax structuring and group reorganisations. Louise was Head of UK Corporation Tax Compliance and has led the learning and development programmes for various tax teams. As part of KPMG’s Northern Ireland tax team, she regularly works with other KPMG departments including audit, transaction services and corporate finance as well as working with legal advisors and lenders on transactions. KPMG in Northern Ireland has been offering audit, tax and advisory services to the public and private sector in Northern Ireland for the last fifty years.
Melissa Burney, Senior Manager at EY, graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2014 with a first-class honour’s degree in Accounting and Finance. Following that, she joined the graduate program in Assurance at PwC Belfast, where she progressed to the Manager level. She became a Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland in 2017 and has been working in Assurance at EY Belfast since 2020.
