Join us on Thursday 13th March at Belfast's Crowne Plaza Hotel for the annual Women in Business Awards, where we will celebrate the remarkable accomplishments of women business leaders across Northern Ireland.

The Awards have been a beacon of celebration for over a decade and are all about recognising the contributions that women across Northern Ireland make to our economy every day.

Our host, Pamela Ballantine will guide us through the gala awards ceremony, sponsored by Virgin Media O2 Business, as we get set to honour the trailblazing women who have achieved excellence across various local sectors and industries.

Recognising a business and/or woman who has championed diversity within the workplace and can demonstrate the benefits of this.

Outstanding Innovation

Recognising a woman who has demonstrated a flair for innovation in business. Whether it’s a new idea, product, service, technology, process or application this award will go to the individual who has transformed their business through innovation.

Best Green Business

Recognising a woman who has worked to ensure that sustainability is at the very core of their business.

Young Businesswoman of the Year

Recognising the outstanding work of a young woman in any aspect of business activity - from entrepreneur to corporate professional. Nominees must be 30 years or under on 24th January 2025.

Best Marketing Campaign

Recognising a woman who can demonstrate how they implemented a successful marketing campaign within the last year which has had positive results and outcomes for their business.

Outstanding Management & Leadership

Recognising an outstanding female manager/leader who has demonstrated exceptional vision and leadership in their business.

Outstanding Apprentice

Recognising an outstanding woman currently undertaking any type of apprenticeship programme, demonstrating exemplary effort, commitment and achievement.

Best New Start Up

Recognising a woman behind an outstanding new start up demonstrating high levels of innovation service and profit. The business must be less than 1 years old i.e. began trading after 31st January 2024.

Best Small Business

Recognising an outstanding woman led small business which demonstrates a high level of service, is profitable and is innovative in its thinking. This business may be a sole trader, a partnership, a social enterprise, or a small private sector company with a maximum of 25 employees.

Outstanding Mentor

Recognising an individual who has given generously of their time to support, guide, challenge and encourage female mentees to success. This category is open to all genders.

Best Customer Service

Recognising a woman who can demonstrate that she truly has the customer at the heart of her business. The winner will demonstrate ongoing improved performance standards and customer impact in the delivery of products and services. There will be two winners - one winner will be a corporate employee and one from a small business of less than 50 employees.

Best in Professional Services

Recognising a woman who consistently exceeds the requirements of internal and external customers. This individual consistently meets or exceeds challenging objectives to deliver the highest levels of service responsiveness and innovation within a professional practice. There will be two winners - one winner will be a corporate employee and one from a small business of less than 50 employees.

Excellence in IT

Recognising a woman who can demonstrate the most successful and innovative use of IT within their business, this could be via software technologies, online businesses or best use of social media and digital technologies. There will be two winners - one winner will be a corporate employee and one from a small business of less than 50 employees.
