Meg Magill

Meg Magill

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Project Manager at InterTradeIreland,

Meg Magill is an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Project Manager at InterTradeIreland, focusing on Shared Island initiatives that support women entrepreneurs across Ireland. With over a decade of experience in Northern Ireland’s arts industry, she has a background in arts and event management, working as a stage manager and producer before transitioning into business development. She is a trustee on the boards of Northern Ireland Resource Network, which promotes sustainable reuse and repair to tackle waste and develop circular economy opportunities, and The Mac, Belfast, a leading cultural hub and arts venue. In 2024, she founded The Wee Swap, a grassroots project in East Belfast promoting reuse and sustainability for local families. She was also part of Ulster University’s 25@25 Leadership Cohort, an initiative recognising young changemakers in Northern Ireland as part of the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement.

Director of Social Value at EY

Jo is Director of Social Value at EY Northern Ireland. This is the first role of its kind for the professional services firm. EY is a global firm with a 1000 strong NI office based in Belfast with a new office opening this summer in Ebrington Plaza in L’Derry. The company is well known for its commitment to the communities in which they work, and social value plays a huge role in contributing to this. Jo is responsible for EY’s social value strategy and delivery. She has worked in professional services for over 18 years and is eager to see the private, public and CVSE sectors come together to maximise the impact that social value has on the environment, economy, and communities in Northern Ireland. Jo is an alumni of the Boardroom Apprentice programme and is a Director of Orchardville Society – an organisation that supports people with a learning disability or autism to live, learn and work. Jo is an ICF accredited coach and coaches leaders across the VCSE sector in NI.
